This year, the Vikings are trying something a little different during Training Camp. They’re using Google Glass. I’m a lover of technology and when I was looking at one of my favorite tech sites, The Verge, I stumbled upon a video that was featured on their homepage. I was shocked. It was on the Minnesota Vikings… using Google Glass! I knew I had to share it! Note: They say the Vikings are horrible about 10,000 times. I do have to make some points: This is a tech website producing the video. I feel like they’re trying to become a sports site. That makes me mad. The only guy who knows remotely what he’s talking about is Spencer Hall from SB Nation. That said, I find this super interesting. If the Vikings can actually get insight into what they’re players are seeing, this could be ground-breaking. The Vikings will have so much more of an edge over the competition. Pun intended. If you want to pick up your own pair of Google Glass, its going to cost you $1500. I guess thats the price you pay for collecting data on what players see? Do you think this will help the Vikings improve their skills? Or is it most likely a waste of money? NOTE: SPORTSMEMORABILIA.COM IS GIVING VIKINGS EGDE READERS $25 OFF YOUR ORDER OF $250 OR MORE. Vikings, Teddy Bridgewater, Adrian Petereson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Greg Jennings, Kyle Rudolph. Watch football this year then come back and watch how stupid you look in this video. Log in to Reply Cole July 31, 2014 Hey Jayo, The video is very frustrating to watch as they have no knowledge of the NFL. I thought it was still necessary to post because of the valuable info on the Vikings using Google Glass during Training Camp. I feel like they were trying to become a sports site while I was watching it though. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
